Led by curator Grace Reinhardt, Tomb Tales is a unique narrative tour through the Medieval Mile Museum, exploring the stories behind the images carved into ancient tombs.

As Grace guides you through the museum, she will shine a light on the hidden narratives woven into centuries-old carvings and monuments, inviting visitors to see familiar artefacts in a completely new way. The tour also includes a rare opportunity to venture into an ancient vault seldom accessible to the public, an exclusive glimpse into a space usually hidden from view.

Originally from the United States and now part of Kilkenny’s growing cultural community, Grace is a PhD candidate at UCD whose passion lies in uncovering the stories behind historical objects and connecting people with the past through storytelling.
