Kilkenny Animated

The Kilkenny Animated Festival 2026 is a celebration of animation, illustration and storytelling, taking place in Kilkenny from September 11th–13th. Across three days, the festival brings together screenings, workshops, talks, live shows, tours and social events, offering something for animation fans of all ages and interests.

From family-friendly workshops and animation masterclasses to film screenings, illustrated talks and live performances, the festival is a great opportunity to discover, learn and celebrate the world of animation.
