Aindrias de Staic
Aindrias de Staic is an award-winning actor, musician, poet, and modern-day seanchaí whose performances breathe new life into Ireland’s rich storytelling tradition. Raised in the Gaeltacht regions of Mayo and Galway, he draws on a deep heritage of folklore, music, and language to create immersive performances that blend captivating narrative, music, poetry, humour, and song.
Renowned for his theatre productions—including Around the World on 80 Quid, The Year I Got Younger, The Summer I Did the Leaving, and The Man From Moogaga—Aindrias has toured extensively across Ireland and internationally. His current production, By the Light of the Silvery Moon, continues to enchant audiences with its evocative weaving of Irish myth, folklore, and music.
Beyond the stage, Aindrias has performed on London’s West End, appeared in film and television, created and presented programmes for TG4, and toured worldwide as a musician. His work has earned numerous honours, including awards at the Edinburgh Fringe, the New Zealand Fringe, the Geelong Shoot Out, and the Celtic Media Awards.
