This event is for 12 years and up.

Your mission is simple: admire the cake, draw the cake… then eat the cake.

Settle into the delicious surroundings of Cakeface Café for a sketching event that combines two of life’s greatest pleasures, art and cake.

With every ticket, you’ll receive a beautifully crafted cake and a set of simple sketching materials. There’s just one catch: before you take your first bite, you have to sketch your sweet masterpiece.

No experience is required. Whether you’re an accomplished artist or someone who hasn’t picked up a pencil in years, you’ll be encouraged and guided by professional artists who know that creativity should be fun. Along the way, they’ll share tips, offer encouragement and help you capture your cake from every angle.
At the end of the session, a selection of sketches will earn a coveted place on the legendary Cakeface Wall of Fame, ensuring that your artistic tribute to pastry perfection lives on long after the crumbs are gone.

Joining the festivities are art director Melissa Malone, Lighthouse Studio’s artist, Amandine Cayla, and Cartoon Saloon co-founder and cake enthusiast, Nora Twomey, who will be on hand to champion creativity, celebrate effort and sample particularly irresistible cakes.
