Zine With Me! – Zine Making Workshop with Marty Broski

WORKSHOPS

Got something to say, draw, share or celebrate? Turn it into a zine.

In this hands-on workshop, artist and zine-maker Marty Broski will guide participants through the wonderfully DIY world of self-publishing. Designed for ages 15 and up, Zine With Me! invites you to create your very own zine from scratch, combining words, drawings, collage, comics, ideas or whatever sparks your imagination.

You’ll learn the basics of zine-making, explore creative ways to tell stories and express yourself, and leave with your own mini-publication hot off the press or at least folded, assembled and ready to share. No previous experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to get creative.

A crew member at Lighthouse Studios and a founding artist of the Zine Machine collective, Marty brings a passion for independent publishing, creativity and community-building to this fun and accessible workshop.

Cut, fold, draw, write, print and create something that’s entirely your own.
